Art was born on August 30, 1949 in Prince George’s County, Maryland to Arthur Halfpap Sr. and Helena Beatrice Halfpap. He received his Master Electrician’s license in 1985. He owned and ran three electrical companies throughout his career. On December 15th, 2007, he married Carla Michelle Halfpap. They raised five children.
Art had a passion for spending time with his family. He loved decorating his home for the holidays. He was also an avid music lover and a collector of lighthouse and boat memorabilia. He was known for his direct and straightforward attitude, his caring heart, his precise work ethic, and his compassionate spirit.
Art was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Halfpap Sr., his mother, Helena Beatrice Halfpap, and 2 of his 3 sisters, Nancy and Mary Jean. He is survived by his wife, Carla, his five children, Jennifer, Brandee, Christopher, Amber, and Ashley, his 7 grandchildren, Asa, Andrew, Alayna, Dominic, Joshua, Ava, and Alea, and his sister, Carol.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, June 5th, 2022 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm at Storke Funeral Home at 11089 James Madison Pkwy, King George, VA.
The Mass and funeral will be held on Monday, June 6th, 2022 at St. Anthony Church 10299 Millbank Rd, King George VA at 1100 am. There will be a funeral luncheon at St. Anthony’s after the burial.
