William Felix Brooks, 92, of Tappahannock passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, August 4, 2022.  Felix loved family, fishing, hunting, cooking and socializing.  He was a retired rep for Frito Lay and Monroe Auto Equipment.  Felix was a lifelong member of Tappahannock Memorial United Methodist Church serving in many capacities, a member of the Tappahannock Volunteer Fire Department and served as Tappahannock Town Councilman for 11 years.  Felix is survived by his beloved wife Barbara Uebele  Brooks; two children William Craig Brooks (Terry) and Amy Brooks Basye (Drew); three grandchildren William Hunter Brooks, Aaron  Wilson Basye and Emaline Brook Basye; his caregivers Tammy, Sue, Gena, Tiny, Bre, Becky, Nancy, Sheila and Arlene.   Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 in Tappahannock Memorial United Methodist Church.  Interment will follow in Essex Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. Monday, August 8, at the church.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Tappahannock-Essex Volunteer Fire Department or Tappahannock Memorial United Methodist Church.   Online condolences may be made to www.storkefuneralhome.com.
