William “Billy” Lee Beazley passed away from a hard-fought battle of cancer in Hanover, VA, on October 17th, 2022.

Born in Milford, VA, Billy lived a full 77 years. He is survived by his wife, Betty June Beazley; his brother, Clyde “Doodle Man” Benjamin Beasley (Margie); children, Crystal Anderson (Rob), Michele Johnson, and William “Randy” Beazley; grandchildren, Lance (Tarang), Courtney, Shelby, Matthew, and Riley; dog, Maggie. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorene “Lola” Helms; father, Clyde Benjamin Beazley Sr.; brothers and sister, Alfred Carter, Cleveland “Rat” Beazley, Ruby Beazley Rollins, Floyd “Flunker” Beazley, Jimmy Beazley, and Ryland “Jerry” Beazley.

Billy was a lifelong member of the Caroline County Community. He attended CT Smith School. He was then married to the love of his life, June Beazley, for nearly 60 years. Billy was a man of many talents and had a passion for trucking, farming, building, manufacturing, butchering and  most importantly raising his family. You could often see him around town on his tractor or watching the Nascar race. As an entrepreneur, in his early years Billy started “W.L. Beazley Inc.” As a beginner in the trucking industry, many of his colleagues coined his name as “Rookie”. They soon learned Billy was a master of his craft, and later began to call him “Boss”. As a strong-willed and determined individual, he always had his family and community’s best interests in mind. He has left his legacy on his family’s farm, and in all our hearts.
