Amber Dawn Arbogast, 29, of King George County passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2022. Amber was born July 20, 1993 in Fredericksburg, VA to Henry “Buzz” Brooks, Jr. and Kathy Arbogast. Amber was a 2011 graduate of King George County High School. Amber was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for her 4 children. She was a very sweet hearted person and would help anyone in need. Amber loved to go fishing with her children, family, and friends. She also loved to go camping and enjoyed sitting around the fire pit talking, sharing memories, and telling stories. Amber loved to go ATV riding and 4-wheeling with her son. She was a fan of anything to do with the West Virginia Mountaineer’s.

Amber is survived by her parents, Henry Brooks and Kathy Arbogast; her children Leland J. Brooks, Lilyanne D. Brooks, Remington E. Holmes, Skylar B. Holmes; her one and only love Cody Holmes; brothers Edward Arbogast, Willie Arbogast, Brian Wilson; sisters Beth Arbogast, Nikiti Arbogast, Haley Nichols; her dog Peanut; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Amber was preceded in death by grandparents Beverly and David Arbogast, Henry Brooks, Ruth Brooks, Barbara Lloyd; uncle Willie Brooks; brother Danny Brooks; and cousin Richard Bradley.

A visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 10640 Kings Hwy, King George, VA 22485. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM with Pastor Sherman Davis officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service at Historyland Memorial Park Cemetery in King George.  Pallbearers: Eddie Arbogast, Willie Arbogast, Brian Wilson, Steve Fowler, Mike Webster, Michael Fernandes, Kyle Bentley and Noah Pitts.

Following the burial, the family invites friends to the home of Susie and Robert Bradley for a repast.

Visitation & Funeral Service Information

A visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 10640 Kings Hwy, King George, VA 22485.

A funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM with Pastor Sherman Davis officiating.

Burial will follow the funeral service at Historyland Memorial Park Cemetery in King George. 

Pallbearers: Eddie Arbogast, Willie Arbogast, Brian Wilson, Steve Fowler, Mike Webster, Michael Fernandes, Kyle Bentley and Noah Pitts.

Following the burial, the family invites friends to the home of Susie and Robert Bradley for a repast.
