Anna Jeanette “Polly” Satterwhite, 84, of Bowling Green died peacefully Monday, December 19, 2022 at Bowling Green Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Stafford, she was the wife of Douglas O. Satterwhite, Sr for 39 years. She retired after 34 years from the New Yorker Restaurant. Survivors include her three children, Billy Armstrong (Robin), Donna Andrews (Rodney) and Douglas “O. D.” Satterwhite (Jamie); two sisters, Carol Cook and Jean Wright; a brother, Frank Jordan; seven grandchildren, Christina Armstrong Ambrose (Patrick), Jennifer Ayers (Spencer), Brandon Armstrong, Rodney Andrews (Brittany), Amber Satterwhite (Chris), Nicholas Satterwhite (Taylor), and Charlina Moore (Kris); and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Jordan and Marshall Howard, Jr. The family will receive friends 11:00 am to 12 noon Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon Tuesday, December 27, 2022. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
