David was greeted in Heaven by his parents Tom and Marie Burpee and his sister Judith Meuschke.

David was one of the nicest guys you would ever meet. We all have baggage from our past and David had his share as well.

The evening of Nov 30th he asked his brother John Burpee and his wife Nancy to pray with him because he wanted to make sure he had his spiritual house in order. It was a beautiful time where he went through a time of asking the Lord and others to forgive him and he repented that evening. The presence of the Lord was in that room and you could see a beautiful change come across David’s face and eyes. David had an incredible peace come over him that was evident by those around him, especially Debi his wife. David made a fresh commitment to Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior. There is no doubt that David is in the presence of the Lord.

AGENT ORANGE is a chemical that was sprayed in Vietnam during the war to kill the jungle foliage to expose the enemy. Over 800,000 Vietnam Vets have died of similar diseases (cancer and other catastrophic diseases) and now here is another one.

David served in Vietnam 1970,71 and the effects of that war took a toll on him 50 years later.

David was a Navy Seabee who was very proud of serving his country.
