Sallie Wagner Worth, 70, of King George, VA, was unexpectedly called to be with God on January 6, 2023.

Sallie was born in Miami Beach, Florida to Doris Virginia Williams Wagner and Harold Ross Jesse Wagner on March 9, 1952.  She married James (Jim) Dwight Worth on December 18, 1972 in North Miami, FL.  She spent 20 years working with Southern Bell, beginning her career as a telephone operator and retiring as supervisor of data communications.  She then moved to Northern Virginia and began a 30-year career with the federal government in Washington, DC, starting in the United States Attorney’s Office and ending in the Public Integrity Section at the United States Department of Justice.

Sallie was involved in churches throughout her life, serving many roles including pianist, choir member, and Sunday school teacher. Her faith in Jesus led Jim, her husband of 51 years, to his life changing acceptance of Jesus and their ongoing team church service.  She also loved helping those less fortunate and found service at ACTS homeless shelter and Love Thy Neighbor rewarding.  Her dedication to family was a driving force her entire life.  She was a soulmate to Jim, a fierce mama bear for her daughters Heather and Amy, and a loving grandmother to Logan, Finley and Fletcher.  She loved attending their sporting events and was clearly their biggest fan and team cheerleader.

Sallie is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Doris Wagner.  She is survived by her husband Jim Worth, daughters Heather and Amy, her son in law, Chris Condon, her 3 grandchildren Logan, Finley and Fletcher Condon, her brother Larry Wagner and his wife Linda, her nephew Jon Wagner and his wife Tara and their children Ethan and Elsie and many friends who loved her and her big heart.
