Robert Kim Harley, Sr., 60, of King George passed away suddenly Friday, February 24, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. Robert was born and raised in Bryantown, MD and graduated from Thomas Stone High School in 1980. Robert moved to King George in 2008 and he worked for WSSC for 24 years and retired in 2017. Robert loved his cars and trucks, going to the racetrack, his animals, especially his “girls” Lilly and Dixie and couldn’t wait for warm weather so he could eat some crabs! Most of all, Robert enjoyed spending time with his family. Robert was an amazing husband, father and grandfather. He appreciated and provided love to his wife of 24 years, Annie, and was an amazing father who taught his children to be strong. He is survived by his daughter, Becky Harley, her children, Damien, Nevaeh and Jerome; daughter, Chrissy Boswell (Anthony Prinkey) and their daughter, Taylea; son, Robert Harley, Jr. (Holly Minter) and their son, Asher; son, Brandon Harley, who lived with his parents and was home every day to help them with any and everything they needed. He is survived by his siblings, James Carroll Harley (Susie), Bernadette Marie Lopez, Elizabeth Naomi “Patsy” Brown, Milton Eugene Harley (Junie), Mary G. Woodland (Tom), John Valentino Harley (Cindy), Margaret Tina Harley and Paul Kerby Harley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton Eugene Harley and Mary Geraldine Harley; brother, Joseph Garrette Harley and brothers-in-law, Raul Lopez and Frank Brown. A funeral will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at Storke Funeral Home, King George. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Historyland Memorial Park, King George.
