Mitchell John Pastula, 98, of Ruther Glen died Saturday, May 6, 2023. Born in  Luzerne  County Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Peter and Franciska Stalma Pastula. He was a Master Plumber and a U S Army veteran. His siblings consisted of four brothers and four sisters. His survivors include his children, Sandra Pastula and Richard Pastula; grandchildren, Amy Bailey, Paul Schwenk and Sara Velazquez; great grandchildren, Danielle Bailey, Brenda McIntyre, Elijah Velazquez and great great grandchildren, Cooper, Colton, Courtney and George. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Janie Coleman and mother of his children, E. Lillian Pastula. A Funeral Mass will be held 1 pm Tuesday, May 16 at St. Mary of the Annunciation with a visitation 12 noon to 1 pm. Burial will be held at 3 pm at St. Cyril and Methodius Cemetery, 8252 Paige Road, Woodford, VA. 22580. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
