Charles Maxwell “Maxie” Beazley, 72, of Milford died Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Bowling Green Health and Rehab. He was the son of the late Charles W. and Anna B. Beazley. Maxie lived in Milford in the same house his entire life, Maxie never married or had children, but was especially close to his cousins, Tommy Beazley, Frances Beazley and Billy and Brandy Beazley, whom he thought of as his niece and nephew.  Maxie worked his entire career at Morris Tile in Richmond until congestive heart failure forced him to retire several years ago. Maxie loved Cadillacs and taking cruises where he visited a great number of countries, including Russia. Throughout his life, he was very generous to several charities. He sponsored many children in needy countries and was a great supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. A funeral service will be held 11:00 Am Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bowling Green Volunteer Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 621, Bowling Green, VA. 22427.
