Patrick Allen DeCristofaro, Jr., better known as P.J. or Booga passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 17, 2023. Born in Fredericksburg, he was the 22 month old son of Roxanne Wyman and Pat DeCristofaro. His smile and personality were so contagious and he was exceptionally smart and caring. He was the happiest little boy ever and he and his brothers and sisters were inseparable. P.J. was fascinated with sharks and loved his shark stuffed animals. He also was destined to be a ball player. It didn’t matter what size or type of ball; (basketball, football or soccer ball) he loved playing with them all. In addition to his loving parents, he is survived by his sisters, Desiree and Adrianna Carlin; his brothers, Tobias and Michael DeCristofaro; his maternal grandmother, Debra Hall Wyman; his paternal grandparents, Tim DeCristofaro (Andrea) and Lisa DeCristofaro (Mike); his aunts and uncles, T.J. DeCristofaro (Jill), Justin DeCristofaro (Gen), Gage DeCristofaro (Nicole), Cynthia Johnson, Joni Wyman, Moe Wyman and Charles Wyman and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Harry Lloyd “Joe” Wyman, Jr., his aunt, Michelle DeCristofaro, his great grandmother, Ellie Compton and his great aunt, Edith Keller. The family will receive friends at the King George chapel of Storke Funeral Home on Thursday, August 24th from 6:00-8:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 25th at 4:00pm at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Historyland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a fund that will be set up in PJ’s memory.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.storkefuneralhome.com.
