Drexell A. George, Sr. died on October 3, 2033. Born September 1,1933 in Lyons, Georgia, he was preceded in death by his wife Margaret. Drex is survived by a brother Wade (Marilyn); children Drex Jr. (Ginny), Denise (Jeff Wilburn) and Dwight (Lindsey); grandchildren Dale, Danielle, DeAndra (Andrew Robinson), and Eric; great-grandchildren Brantley, Allison and Christopher. Drex served in the Air Force, worked for the Central Intelligence Agency, and as a teacher and planetarium director. He was particularly gifted in the art of floral arrangement, building a successful small business. He sang in the choir at First Christian Church (occasionally leaving right after the anthem so as not to miss a moment of a Redskins game). Drex loved the theater, travel and his gardens. Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a future date
