Ronald Kenneth Wisniewski, 77, of Ruther Glen died Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Spotsylvania Regional Memorial Center.  Born in Chicago, Illinois, Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Annette M. Wisniewski and his parents, Joseph and Ann Kabara Wisniewski. Ron was a U S Army veteran and worked for Soil Conservation.  Ron was a member of St. Mary of the Annunciation, where he enjoyed volunteering, especially with the food bank he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed tending to and his raising sheep and enjoyed his dog, Charlie. He is survived by three children, Norma Smith, Frank Haegle and Acina Nester; a brother, Leroy Wisniewski; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 10:00-noon Friday, December 22, 2023 at St. Mary of the Annunciation, Ladysmith Road, Ruther Glen, VA. 22546. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of the Annunciation at noon, Friday, December 22, 2023. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Woodford, VA 22580. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary of the Annunciation Food Pantry, P. O. Box 96, Ladysmith, VA. 22501 or Knight’s of Columbus, P. O. Box 2033, Ashland, VA. 23005. Ron was always on the go and would never sit still. May Ron enjoy his eternal rest that he had earned.
