Patricia Ann Vennemann Tayman, 80, of King George died Dec. 28, 2023 at Mary Washington Hospital. Born in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Bernard H. and Mabel Cusick Vennemann. Patty was the widow of the late Joseph Henry Tayman. She was preceded in death by her sister, Catherine Kreft and two brothers, Bernard “Buzzy” Vennemann and Francis “Butch” Vennemann. She had retired from Geico after 44 years She was a loving mother, aunt, friend and loved babies. She was an avid reader and loved word search. She is survived by her daughter, Lynnette Tayman; four sisters, Mary Bassford, Doris Obier, Jean Richardson and Jane Hobson; three brothers, Johnny, Donald and David Vennemann; four granddaughters, Maggie, Katie, Ally and Emily and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Storke Funeral Home, King George. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 4 at 1:30 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, King George, with burial to follow at Historyland Memorial Park.
