Lawson V. Morgan, 77, of King George, VA passed away on March 13, 2024.

Lawson was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Virginia Morgan, his brother Robert Morgan, Jr. and his sisters, Virginia Morgan, Susie Stanley, Margaret Minter and Mary Ross Boggs.

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Victoria; his children, David Morgan, Jacqueline Motley (Todd), and Karen Buchholz (Will); six grandchildren, Kayla Morgan, Bryan Morgan, Ashton Motley, Justin Motley, Liam Buchholz and Noah Buchholz.

He is also survived by three sisters, Lorena Henderson, Lucy King and Liz Morgan; many nieces and nephews and a very special nephew, Dougie Minter, who he held dear to his heart.

Lawson was raised on his parents’ farm in King George County.  He worked the farm through 1986.  He worked for Solite, Bardon, and Mid-Atlantic Materials for 24 years before retiring.

Lawson enjoyed watching NASCAR, deer hunting, bush hogging on the farm, and maintaining Steppe Estates private road.

Lawson loved spending time with and supporting his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, March 23, 2024 in Storke Funeral Home, King George.  Interment will follow in Historyland Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service Saturday at the funeral home.

Visitation & Funeral Service Information

Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, March 23, 2024 in Storke Funeral Home, King George.  Interment will follow in Historyland Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 10 am until service time at the funeral home on Saturday.
