Born in Washington DC, she was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church, where she enjoyed participating in the Women’s Ministry. She also worked at Westmoreland Berry Farm for over 20 years. Survivors include her children, Ronnie Burnett (Jane), Bones Burnett (Debbie) and Tammy McGuinn (Don); her two brothers, Gerald Padgett (Marlene) and Robert Padgett (Linda); her brother in law, Donald Burnett; eleven grandchildren, Brittany, Eric, Michael, Dawn, Dwayne, Kim, Renee, Michael, Ronnie, Jennifer and Donald; twenty-four great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. Kathleen loved all of her grand, great and great-great children, but had a very special relationship with Savannah and Nicholas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles and her daughters, Sherry and T.C. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 4th at 12:00pm at the King George chapel of Storke Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service. Burial will then take place in Historyland Memorial Park. Following the burial, family and friends are invited to a reception at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made to the Women’s Ministry at Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Visitation & Funeral Service Information
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 4th at 12:00pm at the King George chapel of Storke Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, one hour prior to the service. Burial will then take place in Historyland Memorial Park.
Following the burial, family and friends are invited to a reception at Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made to the Women’s Ministry at Oak Grove Baptist Church.
