A native of Johnson City, TN, he was preceded in death by his parents Cecil Howard Taylor and Viola Putnam Taylor and his brothers Wayne Taylor and Larry Taylor. He received his BS at East Tennessee State University and his MA at Pepperdine University. C. V. continued to serve his country in many capacities at HQMC, Quantico and the Rappahannock Regional Criminal Justice Academy. He enjoyed his retirement at Windy Hill Farm raising Registered Black Angus Cattle and spending time with his family. C. V. is survived by his devoted wife Bonnie S. Taylor; their sons Mitchell R. Constant, Jr. (Michelle) and Daniel Taylor (Nina); his grandchildren Brennon, Logan, Abi, Logan and Jacob. His sister, Sharon Schackne (Mike) and nephews. His devoted and faithful companion and Australian cattle dog, Maggie, passed away several hours following C. V. death. Funeral services with military honors will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2024 at the graveside in Potomac Baptist Church, King George. The Reverend Dennis Newton will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Potomac Baptist or Charity of your choice.”
