Mary Burdette, 61, of King George, VA passed away at her home on May 15, 2024. Mary possessed a remarkable talent for sewing and took great pleasure in customizing and crafting items for her family and home. She enjoyed camping and RV’ing in the Northern Neck, as well as the exciting pastime of riding minibikes. Mary had a vast record collection and cherished dancing with her husband, James, to their favorite songs. She was deeply devoted to her role as a mother, dedicating her time to volunteering with her daughter’s Girl Scout troop, and as a loving and dedicated Nanny to her grandchildren. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, James & Barbara Ann Shaiffer. Mary is survived by her devoted husband, James C. Burdette; her children, Jimmy Burdette (Katie) and Nicole Hall (Jesse); grandchildren, Isaac, Chloe, and Megan, as well as Fiona, Gus, Finley, and their mother, Alanna Hardman. A gathering to celebrate Mary’s life will be announced at a later date for friends and family to come together in remembrance.
