Michael Wayne Stutzman passed away in his home on May 19, 2024.  His loving wife was at his side.  He’s been known to friends as Horseman, Cavey, and Tattoo Mike.  Mike’s employment began at the age of 16 cleaning his uncle’s shop.  He became a mechanic at the age of 17 and ultimately retired from Fairfax County as a Mechanic Supervisor after nearly 30 years of service.  He also worked as a tattoo artist for 10 years and bred American Quarter Horses for 20 years.

Mike was an avid outdoorsman and had numerous hobbies including fishing, hunting, riding reining horses, and motorcycle riding.  He is survived by his wife Jo Ann, to whom he was married for 16 years and with for 20 years.  He also leaves behind his daughters Christine and Megan (married to Matthew), his stepchildren John and Sarah, and his daughter-in-law Mae.  Mike had 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  He will be profoundly missed.  A celebration of his life will be held at Rehoboth United Methodist Church on June 8, 2024 at 11:00 am.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
