Stephen (Steve) Todd Jehnsen, 58, of King George, VA, passed away unexpectedly in his home on the evening of Tuesday May 28, 2024. Steve was born on February 3, 1966 to Louise Ransom and David Jehnsen. Steve is survived by his daughters, Alexis (Austin) Carr, Brittany Jehnsen, and Ava Jehnsen; his grandchildren; Saniya, Oaklynn and Jolie; his mother Louise (Elbert) Johnston Ransom and father David Jehnsen; his siblings Angela (Kenneth) Jones and Gregory (Marta) Ransom. He also leaves behind many nephews that he cherished. Steve had a kind soul with a heart of gold. His pride and joy were his daughters and granddaughters. He dreamed big. He loved hard. He had a deep passion for farming and gardening, outside of his occupation as a painter. He was an avid lover of water; rivers, oceans, aquariums. A private celebration of life will begin at 1:00 p.m on June 21. Everyone is encouraged to dress casually. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in his memory to Oceana (oceana.org).
