Tommy Cox, 82, of King George, went to be with the Lord on June 7, 2024 at his home. Born to the late Robert and Hazel Cox, Tommy was the owner and operator of Cox’s Auto Inc. for over 30 years. Tommy was known for his undoubtedly work ethic and the love for his family. He was a member of Montague Baptist Church of King George where he was Baptized at a young age.

He is survived by his children Katrina Harris (Troy) and Gary Cox (Renee); his siblings, Richard Cox, Wayne Cox (Rhonda) and Bonnie Reynolds; his grandchildren, Jamie Miller (Matt), Thomas ”Buck” Cox III (Jackie), Ryan Rock (Kristin), Rachel Rock, Gary “Allen” Cox Jr. (Alyssa) and Emily Cox; and great grandchildren, Alex and Bently Miller, Lucas and Alaina Cox, Charlotte and Aiden Rock, Tanner Cox and many others who called him grandpa. Tommy is also survived by Thomas “Eddie” Cox Jr’s widower Robyn Cox and her children Crystal, Brandon and Timmy.  He also leaves behind his favorite child of all, Coco, his four-legged bestie.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Audrey Cox; their children, Linda Cox, Thomas “Eddie” Cox Jr. and Rita Rock; and grandson, Kyle Cox.

A funeral service will be held June 17, 2024 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, with visitation 2-3pm and services starting at 3pm. A private burial service will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
