Keith Emerson Payne, Jr., 67, of Colonial Beach, VA passed away unexpectedly on August 12, 2024, with his best friend, King. Keith had a deep love for the water and enjoyed boating or crabbing. He also enjoyed sharing his love of horse racing with his girls. Keith had a service-oriented heart and was always willing to volunteer his help where needed. Keith was a past member of the VFW, and a current member of the American Legion, Eagles, and Moose. He is preceded in death by his parents, Keith (Pete) Payne, Sr. and Doris Payne. Keith is survived by his loving wife, Donna Hurdle-Payne; daughters, Tara (Dave) and Erin; and grandchildren, Lily, Jesse, and Pierce. A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 noon on Monday, August 26, 2024 at Dockside Restaurant & Tiki Bar, 1787 Castlewood Drive, Colonial Beach, VA. Casual attire is encouraged.
