Kathy D. Musick, 60, of King George, VA, entered the Kingdom of Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior on August 15, 2024 after a short illness. Kathy was born on October 29, 1963 in Fredericksburg, VA.  Kathy graduated from King George High School in 1982, and married Byron Musick, the love of her life, on September 19, 1987. She worked for King George County in Community Development as a Technical Assistant until 2005.  After that, she decided to be a homemaker to enjoy life with her family and her hobbies.  She and Byron had a wonderful life together.  Kathy was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in King George. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, her pets, Nascar, and helping others.  She was kind, sweet and gentle natured.  Her greatest joy was spending time with Byron and her family. Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Byron, and her parents, Lester Green and Faye Green.  She is survived by her brother, Gary L. Green and sister-in-law Cheryl Gautier Green of King George; three nephews, Gary B. Green of Spotsylvania, Christopher Green of Fredericksburg, and Remington Green (Jasmine) of King George; one great nephew, Sawyer Green of King George; her favorite uncle, Larry Wilcox of Fredericksburg; two aunts, Judy Carter and Darlene Stanley, both of King George; several cousins and many friends. On Wednesday, August 21, the family will receive friends at Storke Funeral Home in King George at 11 a.m. and the funeral service will be at 12 noon followed by a graveside burial at the Green Family Cemetery in King George.  Kathy requested that everyone come as they are in casual, everyday attire. Kathy loved flowers and animals.  If a donation is preferred, please consider the King George Animal Rescue League or the SPCA.
