Vivian Audrey Farish Motley, age 94, of Port Royal peacefully passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.  She was born on April 4th, 1930 in Fredericksburg, VA. She lived her entire life in Port Royal.  She and her husband, John, operated the Farish Print Shop for many years.  Vivian was a talented artist and designed countless advertisements for local businesses, as well as those in Richmond and Washington, DC.  In addition, Vivian owned and operated the Port Royal Tavern for many years.  She loved flowers and could be found anytime of the day tending her garden. Vivian was a long-time member of Memorial Baptist Church in Port Royal.  She was preceded in death by her husband John Lewis Motley, Jr., her parents Robert Vivian Farish and Eloise Early Garth.  She is survived by her cousins C. B. Collins, his wife Betty, and their sons Chuck and David.  Her survivors also include numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at the Greenlawn Cemetery on Monday, August 26 at 2:00 PM.  The family will receive friends at the Pavilion prior to the services.  The Rev. Richard Headley will perform the burial service.
