Tonya Marie Bowen, born on October 29, 1965, in Orange County, California, passed away on August 23, 2024, at the age of 58. A dedicated and loving individual, Tonya spent her life caring for others as a certified nursing assistant, a profession she embraced with passion. Tonya’s greatest joy came from her family. She is survived by her husband, Luther Bowen Jr., and her siblings Linda (Lance), Gabe (Dina) and Zoey . She is also survived by her four beloved children: Jeremy (Krista), Shranda (Lazarus SR), Josephine (Chase), and stepdaughter Katie (Patrick). Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Jonathan, Samuel, Landon, Spencer, Natalie, Athena, Lazarus JR, Ryan, Miley, Inesha, Shiasia, Lashaad, Lanazja, Carter, Brenden, Joshua, Christian, Logan, and Aaron. She also has 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews that will cherish her memory. Throughout her lifetime, Tonya had a wide range of hobbies, including horseback riding and cooking. She was especially talented at crocheting and had a knack for bringing people together. Tonya also loved watching Westerns and anything related to horses and often shared these moments with her family. She was truly a wild and free spirit. Preceded in death by her father, Al Cutright, and mother, Margaret Stephan, stepdaughter Frances and granddaughter Desirea. Tonya was a proud member of the Baptist faith. She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the profound love she had for her family. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
