James Randolph Clarke passed away at the age of 80 on Tuesday, August 27, 2024.  Jimmy was retired from the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, VA, were he worked as a Machinist-Model Maker for 37 years.  He really enjoyed his boats, fishing and riding his motorcycles, until his back started hurting him.  In his younger years, Jimmy and a few of his friends he worked with played in Ping Pong Tournaments. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents Billie Morgan Clarke Wilkins and Loren Randolph Clarke and his sister Iris Clarke Peace.  He is survived by his loving wife Gail H Clarke; sister Jennifer Vanlandingham Nock (Jim); brother Edward William Clarke (Lora) and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will take place at 11am on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at Hanover Baptist Church, 10312 Hanover Church Road, King George, VA.  The family will receive friends from 10am to 11am.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hanover Baptist Church.
