Judith Vernell Budd, 90, of Bowling Green, died Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at Bowling Green Health and Rehab. She was the daughter of the late Hampton and Virginia Jones. She had worked numerous years for Caroline County Social Services and had serv ed on various committees in Caroline County. She was a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by a son, Jose Budd and three brothers, William Jones, Boyd Jones and Granville Jones. Survivors include a son, Juan Budd; three grandchildren, Latoya Budd, Lashiba Budd and Marcus Turner; fourteen great grandchildren, Quawn, Keem, Shiya, Tamara, Tyasia, Tationa, JoJo, Joey, Maria, Dashawn, Zaiah, Shae, Devin and Anitra; and eleven great-great grandchildren; two special friends, Jackie Monroe and June Slaughter. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, September 12, 2024 at First Mount Zion Baptist Church, 17065 Seals Road, Bowling Green, VA 22427.
