Patrick Martin Stinson, 75, of King George, went to be with his Lord on August 28, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Ruth Stinson, and brother, Samuel “Sam” Stinson Jr. He is survived by his siblings, Patricia Stinson and William “Bill” Stinson; seven nieces and nephews; and six great nieces and nephews. Patrick grew up in Annandale Virginia, where he attended Saint Michael’s Catholic Church, and worked for Public Broadcasting Systems, better known as PBS. He loved Astronomy, model trains, bird watching, and researching and writing published books about aviation. Patrick was very strong in his faith, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a devoted member at Saint Anthony’s of Padua Mission Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Friday, September 6^th at Storke Funeral Homes King George Chapel, 11089 James Madison Parkway. A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, September 7^th, at Saint Anthony’s of Padua Mission Catholic Church, 10299 Millbank Rd, King George, VA 22485. Interment to follow at Historyland Memorial Park.
