Sandra Ann Zampese, 62, of Colonial Beach, VA passed away on August 28, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family. Sandra cherished the time she spent with her family, particularly enjoying their vacations at the beach. Caring for her grandchildren and watching them grow brought her so much joy. She shared a special bond with each of her nieces and nephews, who held a unique place in her heart. Sandra was a devoted caregiver, both to her family at home and in her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She loved being able to provide for others and was indeed a source of comfort and security for her family and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents, CB & Alice Schools. Leaving to cherish her memory is her husband, Tony; children, Allison (Daniel) and Tony; grandsons, Luke and Evan; brother, Steve (Shannan); sisters-in-law, Robin, Janet, and Amy; 7 nieces and nephews; and 10 great-nieces and great-nephews. A memorial service to celebrate Sandra’s life will be held at 11am on Friday, October 11, 2024 at Storke Funeral Home, King George. The family will receive friends from 10-11am at the funeral home.
