Evelyn K. Hayden, 84, of Woodford died Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Mary Washington Hospital. Mrs. Hayden was an active member of Round Oak Baptist Church. She served for many years as organist and Vacation Bible School director. She shared her talent and love for music with many students, both young and old, that she welcomed into her home for piano lessons. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Stella Kish; her husband, James William Hayden, Jr; and her brothers, Eugene and Roland Kish. She is survived by her son, Richard Ryan Hayden; two grandchildren, Ivy Jeannette Marlene Smith and James William Hayden, III. A visitation will be held 11:00-noon Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. A funeral will follow at noon in the chapel of Storke Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fredericksburg.
