Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintSusan Kingsley Evans Jaskot, 69, passed away peacefully, at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Monday, September 23, 2024, with her husband, sons and twin sister at her side. Susan was preceded in death by her parents David Kingsley Evans and Mary Jane Evans, of Jackson, WI. Born in Cincinnati, Susan grew up in Naperville, Illinois as one of four sisters. She graduated in the summer of 1976 from Wesley-Passavant School of Nursing in Chicago. Susan worked as a Registered Nurse in a number of hospitals and clinics, in several states, during her career, while balancing being the wife of a career Navy Officer, and the mother of two sons.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Richard Jaskot; her sons, Brian Jaskot, and the mother of their children Erin Jaskot, and David Jaskot and his wife, Farrell; her five grandchildren, Ella, Cooper & Parker, and Sutton & Whitt; three sisters, Cathy Langfitt and her husband Brian, her twin sister, Jayne Carpenter and her husband, Ed, and Nancy Gore and her husband, Bob; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.
A memorial Mass will be held at 11:30am, Monday 14 October, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Arlington, VA. Burial will take place at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Susan’s name may be made to the Melanoma Research Alliance Foundation – Donate to MRA Unspecified/General (curemelanoma.org), or the Walter Reed Society – Donate, Warrior-Family Support Fund | The Walter Reed Society.

A memorial Mass will be held at 11:30am, Monday 14 October, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Arlington, VA. Burial will take place at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
