It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Debra Lynn Thompson on October 16, 2024 at the age of 67. Debbie was born on November 3, 1956 to Marjorie and Samuel Farmer in Jacksonville, FL.  She graduated from Terry Parker High School and shortly after that married the love of her life, Clayton Thompson. Debbie became a homemaker, raising her children and holding down the fort while her husband was in the Navy.  She enjoyed baking, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She took great pride in having the prettiest yard on the block. Debbie is survived by her husband of 49 years, Clayton Thompson and daughters Michelle Tidwell (Jason) and Jennifer Eubanks (Jamar), grandson Quentin Fortune and granddaughters Olivia Tidwell and Jaida Eubanks, her brother, Samuel Farmer (Nancy) and niece Ronda Ferrell (Darryl) and countless cousins and other family members. Debbie is also survived by friends that were like family.  Bonnie, Kathy, Sandy H, Paige and the other Sandy H were just a few of her most treasured friends. Everyone will miss her humor, practical jokes and her pound cake and chocolate chip cookies.
