Brian Winston Carroll, 35 of Ruther Glen passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 21, 2024.  A 2007 graduate of Caroline High School, Brian was an Army Veteran.  He served in the 1^st Battalion, 506^th Infantry Regiment, 101^st Airborne Division, 4^th Brigade Combat team. He was employed by VCF. He enjoyed fishing and playing video games.  Brian is survived by his daughter Cassidy Ann Carroll and her mother Rebecca Carr; his mother and step-father Kimberly (Susie) and Ryland Surles; his father and step-mother Billy and Tina Carroll; his paternal grandmother Mary Fuget and Step grandmother Sharon Reedy; his brothers John Mark Foster, Kenneth Surles, Matt Surles, Anthony Surles and Shawn Surles; his sisters Michelle Maxxie, Brittany Carroll, Abigail Vaughn and Katelyn Vaughn, numerous uncles, aunts and cousins. Brian was Predeceased by his maternal grandparents Steward and Laura Durrett: Paternal Grandfather Dennie Carroll and Step Grand Father Tom Fuget.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. The Family will receive friends from 5-7 pm on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at the funeral home.  Interment will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 6, 2024 in Quantico National Cemetery with military honors.
