William Michael “Shop Mike” Collins,63, died Friday, November 15, 2024, peacefully at his home. Born in New York, he was the son of the late William Clarence and Patricia Winton Collins. “Shop Mike” had retired from Rappahannock Electric Co-op after 34 years and had worked for Atlee Landscaping for about 23 years. Mike served as a Military Police for the U. S. Army for about 4 years. He met his wife, Judy at Fort A. P. Hill while serving in the U S Army. He was a member of Concord Baptist Church; loved deer hunting, fishing and Nascar.  Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Judy Collawn Collins; two daughters, Melissa Collins and Marsha Beazley (David); five siblings, Terry Wilcox (Jeff), Kenny Collins (Debbie), Leon Manwarren, Lisa Manwarren, and Kerry Manwarren; five grandchildren, Abigail Dillworth, Dixie Randolph, Connor Dillworth, Scarlett Beazley and Harper Beazley. He was preceded in death by a sister, Tammy Manwarren. A Celebration of Life will be held 2 PM Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024 at Concord Baptist Church, 15625 Concord Road, Ruther Glen, Va 22546. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Concord Baptist Church, Keith Reid, treasurer, 3914 Smokey Road, Aylett, VA 23009.
