Phillip Anthony Stubbs, 64, of Triangle, Va. passed away on Friday, Nov. 29, 2024. He was born on Mar. 17, 1960, in Fayetteville, North Carolina to Gretchen Stewart Stubbs and Donald Ray Stubbs. Phillip grew up in the Northern Virginia area most of his life. He graduated from Hayfield High School in 1978. He attended Northern Virginia Community College and worked various jobs before becoming an auto technician. Phillip also served in the Army National Guard Reserves and the Army Reserves for eight years of military service. Phillip worked as an auto technician for 35 years. He was creative, artistic, hard-working, and always loved working with his hands. He enjoyed bodybuilding, weightlifting, and golfing in his younger years.

He was a loving father and husband. Phillip is survived by his wife, Frances Stubbs, and his daughter, Julia Pazmino (Juan) of Arlington, Va, and his son, Collin Stubbs of Triangle, Va. And a brother Mark Stubbs (Samantha) of Jacksonville, NC, and a sister Tammy Jones (Kenny) of Front Royal, Va. Also, many nieces and nephews. Phillip was preceded in death by both parents and older brother, Donald Ray Stubbs Jr.

The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Storke Funeral Home, King George VA.  Interment will follow in Historyland Memorial Park.
