Joyce Wenrich Phipps, 84, of Woodford, VA, died Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at Morningside House of Spotsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Willard and Sophie Kulynych Wenrich. Her career started as a bookkeeper at her father’s building company store in Milford in 1970s, avid member of Young Homemakers Club, teacher’s aide at Ladysmith Primary school in the late 1980s, upholstered tents at Fort A.P. Hill, Girl Scout Leader, and finished her working career as a USPS mail carrier.  She loved working on several projects:  upholstery, sewing/tailoring, knitting/crocheting, to name a few.  She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Phipps; two sisters, Sonjia Gentile and Janet Wenrich; and a brother, Daniel Wenrich. Survivors include her children, Lisa Phipps and Eric Phipps (Kris); siblings, Willard Wenrich, Jr. (Pat), Barbara Kreuter, Catherine Venable, Sharon Leahman, Carolyn Wenrich, Nathan Wenrich, Grace Galliano (Albert) and Susan Wenrich (Dennis). The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Friday, December 6, 2024 at Storke Funeral Home, 111 South Main Street, Bowling Green, VA.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green, VA. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
