Virginia Aline Jones of King George, Virginia died on Sunday, December 8, 2024, peacefully at home. She is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Berkeley Lewis Jones, and two daughters, Mary and Beverly. Virginia Jones has two sons, Berk Jones (Donna) and Samuel Jones (Theresa), and three daughters Ginny Snyder (Bob), Barbara Robel (Bob), and Betsy DeSantis (Steve); along with numerous grandchildren and other family members.

Born in Fauquier County, VA on April 5th, 1928, she was raised in Seat Pleasant, Maryland along with her four brothers and seven sisters. She worked at Grand Union for approximately five years. But most of her time she was a homemaker taking loving care of her family In Landover, Maryland.

She has lived in King George, VA for 35 years. Her favorite hobbies are shopping, coloring, scratch offs and playing solitaire and rummy. Virginia has been a long-time member of Round Hill Baptist Church and her favorite hymn is How Great Thou Art. Her home was always open to friends and family. She will be greatly missed by all.

The family will receive friends at the Storke Funeral Home, King George from 6 – 8 pm on Wednesday, December 11,2024. A funeral will be held 12:00 pm, Thursday, December 12,2024 at Round Hill Baptist Church, King George, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
