John Graham King, 83, of King George passed away surrounded by his family at his residence on Monday, December 23, 2024.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working the land on his beloved tractor, and traveling.  John was a retired employee of NSWC Dahlgren and a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, the Fredericksburg Rod & Gun Club, and a lifetime member of the NRA.  He was preceded in death by his parents Bartley and Kathleen King and his sister Mary Elizabeth Browne.  John is survived by his wife Leslie King of King George, four children Debbie Sims (Will) of Deltaville, John King (Jen) of Chesterfield, John Bostic of Lexington, KY, and Jason Bostic (Pace) of Long Beach, MS; his four grandchildren Carrington King, Eliana King, Everleigh King and Cailyn King and five step-grandchildren Rachael Bostic, Cadie Bostic, Kaitlyn Bostic, Tristan Mitchell and Bryce Mitchell.  A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 7 in the chapel of Storke Funeral Home, King George.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2025 in St. Paul’s Rock Creek Cemetery, Washington, DC.
