Thomas Earl Nicholson, 70, of Partlow, VA, passed away on January 4, 2025. Born on March 20, 1954, to Early F. Nicholson and Edna Hopkins Nicholson, Tom was the devoted husband of Deborah Sommers Nicholson for 50 years.

He was the father of Ann Nicholson Bosserman (Jason) of Basye, VA, and Kelly Lee Nicholson (Monica) of Beaverdam, VA. Tom was a proud grandfather of Savannah Leigh Harris, Eleanor Leigh Bosserman, Thomas Jacob Nicholson, Wyatt Edward Bosserman, and Evelyn Deborah Bosserman, and a great- grandfather to Alexander Kenneth Harris.

Tom began his career with Virginia Power in 1972, working nearly 40 years as a lineman before retiring in 2010. His dedication to his work and family was unwavering, and he will be remembered for his strong work ethic and commitment to those he loved.

Tom’s legacy is defined by his humility, selflessness, and the example he set for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A funeral mass will be held at 11am on Monday, January 13, 2025 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church followed by burial at Historyland Memorial Park.
