It is with deepest sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing of James “Henry” Hart. Our Old Man loved three things most in life, His Family, Cards, and Hunting in that order. He owned and operated Thornburg Shell for over 45 years. He was a member of the Berkeley Hunting Club and enjoyed spending time with his many friends and family. He loved his life that he made with his loving wife of 55 years, Mary. He is survived by his wife and their three children, Jim (Heather), Paul (Laurie), and Angela “Muffy” (Chris).

He was a loving Pawpaw to 9 Grandchildren, Tiffany, Dusty, Emily (John), Abbie Faith (Stephen), Rebekah (Dylan), Olivia (Cameron), Abby Grace, Maddie “Bug”, Jamie, and two great grandchildren, Caden and Cason. He joins his sister, Elizabeth and brother, Wilson in the clouds of Heaven. May his memory be a blessing. Instead of flowers the Family would like donations to be made to Upper Caroline Volunteer Fire Department. Please support local small businesses. The family will receive friends 4-6 pm Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green.  A funeral service will be held 2 pm Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. Burial will follow in Bethany Baptist Church.
