It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Wayne Sivia, 52, of Caroline County, VA, on January 11, 2025.

His parents, James L. and Krisandra Sivia, joyfully and with never ending love, welcomed David into their life’s on January 7, 1973 while living in New Port Richey, Florida. David lived most of his life in Virginia.

David was a gifted and talented Mechanical Engineer working for several major commercial construction companies. He served briefly in the National Guard.

He was blessed with four amazing and incredible children. He derived great joy and pleasure in their many accomplishments. His children were and will always remain his greatest love and legacy.

His beloved children, Devon James Groves-Sivia (Madison), Tyler David Sivia, Brandon Sivia, and Elizabeth Rose Sivia will forever love and hold close their memories of him. They will carry him in their hearts forever.

David had two siblings, James L. Sivia II (Jessica) and Heather M. Sivia (Richard).   They will love him forever.

His former wife, the mother of their beautiful children, Sarah E. Smith, has remained close to David and his family and will help keep his memory and love for his children alive for them.

He leaves behind many family members who have loved him enormously. His Aunt Shery and Uncle John Daugherty, Uncle Butch (Glen) Sivia, his dearly loved Aunt Tina and Uncle Richard Daughtry. His many cousins, nieces, and nephews. They join us in mourning his loss.

An intimate gathering of family and friends will be held on January 24, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Storke Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
