Roy Lee Allison, Sr, of Colonial Beach, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 8, 2025.  He was born to James William Allison, Sr. and Ricie Lee Worrell of Oxon Hill, Maryland on January 21, 1943.

Roy was a hardwood specialist who owned Allison Floors in Bladensburg, Maryland.  Roy enjoyed watching westerns, playing horseshoes, fishing and was a master checker player.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents James and Ricie Allison; brothers James Allison Jr, Lewis Allison Sr, Wayne Allison, Sr; sisters Peggy Farrell, Alberta Farrell, Dorothy Jenkins, Delores Magruder.

Roy is survived by his wife Claire Alton; sons Roy Allison, Jr, Steve Allison (Lisa), Eric Allison (Katie); and daughter Robin Simpson (Ray).  Roy adored and cherished all of his nieces and nephews along with his grandchildren Joshua, Kimmy, Chris, Timothy, Rachael, Krysten, Rasean, Shawn, Coren, Jylian; great grandchildren Justin, KJ, Autumn, Jaxon, Galonte “G” and Emmi.

A Celebration of Life will be in the Summer of 2025.
