Show Obituaries Show Guestbook Show Photos QR Code PrintAlfred Franklin Glascock, “Frankie,” formerly of the City of Fairfax, Virginia, died in his Woodford, Virginia home July 7, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, Delmas “Bill” and Elvira Glascock. He is survived by his beloved son, Jeremy F. Glascock, and four siblings: Nellie Rutherford, Evelyn McCormick, Johnny Glascock, and Tommy Glascock. Frankie loved dogs, motorcycles, boating, and the outdoors. His favorite place to be was the mountains where he could fish, hunt, and enjoy nature. Frankie was a hard worker and a gifted craftsman, mainly in the art of hanging drywall, but talented in many other aspects of construction. As a youth, Frankie enjoyed spending time with his brothers and friends, drag racing, and setting off on unplanned road trips across the country. An adventurous spirit, Frankie helped create many fun and interesting memories with his family and friends. A graveside service will be held at City of Fairfax Cemetery, 10567 Main Street, on September 12, 2019 at 11:00 am, followed by a memorial reception at American Legion Post 177, 3939 Oak St., Fairfax, VA 22030, where friends and family will gather and celebrate Frankie’s memory with stories and refreshments. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Caroline County Animal Shelter 14080 Devils Three Jump Rd., Milford, Virginia 22514.
