Willard Mason Stanley, 92, of Spotsylvania died Saturday, February 8, 2025 at his home. He was the son, of the late Ashton and Mary Stanley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Anderson Stanley and a daughter, Tammie Stanley. A daughter’s quote about her Dad  “A son’s first hero and a daughter’s first love”. He retired as a truck driver from Quarles Petroleum and was a U. S. Army veteran. Mason loved building baby doll furniture with his wife, Shirley making the bedding. He is survived by his daughter, Gail Luna (Apolinar) a son, Tom Stanley (Suzanne); twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.  The family will receive friends 9-10 am Tuesday, February 18 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. A funeral service will follow at 10 am the funeral home. Burial will be at noon at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fredericksburg.
