June 24, 1949, Bel Air, Maryland, Vincent and Dorothy Zynel would welcome into this world, Barbara Ann Zynel.  After graduating, she completed school and became an airline stewardess, stationed in New York; her trip to Woodstock shortened that career choice though.  She says if you watch the movie she is in it.  Before leaving NY, she would meet a future Mr. Puerto Rico, be on a television game show and win, have her pregnant belly rubbed by a future Mr. Olympia and have everything stolen from her car.  While still in Queens, NY, she would have her son, Papo.  They would soon leave together and head to her grandmothers, Bertha, in King George.  There she would waitress and go to school to be a court reporter.  Soon after, she also would meet her true love, Rodney.  It took a minute, but he finally won over Bertha.  They would end up getting married on the banks of Fairview Beach; where they would eventually move.  As she brought her son into the marriage, Rodney brought his two young girls, Anna and Shelley.  She and he enjoyed many great experiences together and most of them included the Potomac River, but sadly Rodney would pass in March of 2023 before they could really enjoy their retired life on the water.

His loss took a lot from her but very few knew the extent of her struggle.  As many looked in from the outside and judged, (Matthew 7:1-5), she remained strong.  For over the past year she was able to be cared for by her son and his family, especially Michelle.  Her joy for life and indomitable spirit kept her pushing through but on March 17, 2025 at 75, Barbara Ann Ferrell passed.  She was a great mom, a loving wife, a grandmother of 7 and a special friend that was willing to help so many.  I love you Mom.
