William M. “Billy” Quarles, 67, of Ruther Glen, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2025, in Culpeper. For the past several years, he made his home in King George, where he formed many cherished friendships.

Though Billy never drove or rode a motorcycle, he had a deep love for all things Harley-Davidson. He also found great joy in the music of Michael Jackson, whose songs brought him happiness throughout his life.

Billy is survived by his beloved mother, Gloria Quarles; his sisters, Carol Duke-Snellings (Larry) and Becky Pitts (Donald Lee); and numerous nieces and nephews, including Jennifer and Julie, who were raised as his sisters. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Quarles.

A funeral service to honor Billy’s life will be held on Monday, March 31, at 2:00 PM at Carmel Baptist Church in Ruther Glen. He will be laid to rest in the church cemetery following the service. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church one hour prior to the service to pay their respects.

Billy will be remembered for his kind spirit and the joy he brought to those who knew him.
