Connie “Con” Allen Quattlebaum, 91, a long-time resident of King George, Va., passed away peacefully on April 7, 2025.
Con was born in Greenville, Texas, on May 21, 1933, to the late Melvin Fletcher Quattlebaum and Ethel Read Quattlebaum. He was the youngest son of 12 children.
He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed riding horses, fishing, training and hunting with his bird dogs and tending a vegetable garden. He had a passion for music, played the guitar and wrote songs. His family lovingly remembers his kindness, sense of humor and curiosity about the natural world.

He spent his career at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, Va., and retired as an operations research analyst. He found solace and strength in his faith and was an active member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in King George, Va.
