Kim Anderson Dickens, 70, of Faulkner, MD passed away unexpectedly at home early Thursday, April 17, 2025 along with his husband, Robert L. Bowling.

Born March 10, 1955, in Fredericksburg, VA, he was the youngest child of Jack Anderson Dickens and Marylou Hubler Dickens.  Kim was preceded in death by both of his parents.  He is survived by his sister, Lynne Paradis and her husband Henry; nieces Mary Wood and her husband Daniel and Carey Paradis; his great-nephews Dustin Wood and Parker Wood; his aunt Jane Marra; numerous cousins and their families.

Before operating the Railroad Bargains Thrift Store in La Plata, MD with his husband, he was a hairdresser, gladly offering an at home haircut, perm or styling to family members. Kim was quiet and kind-hearted, he thoroughly loved life, animals, laughter, music, dancing and being around friends and family.  More recently, Kim enjoyed going down on the weekends to stay in his childhood home in Colonial Beach, VA and to ride around the point.
