Kenneth C. Brown, affectionately known as “Vic” was born on January 18, 1961, to parents, the late Kenneth G. “Gille” Brown and Joyce M. “Buttercup” Brown of King George, Virginia. He departed this life on April 24, 2025 at the age of 64. Vic was also preceded in death by his sister, Brenda D. Brown, and brother, Gilbert L. Brown.

Vic accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Antioch Baptist Church, King George, Virginia. He received his education from the King George School system. Afterwards, he worked at White Packing Company, Bushrod Waste Management and CVS for many years until his health declined. He will always be remembered for his love of basketball and fast cars.

In his early years, he had a specialized skill set being known as the neighborhood “master detailer” because he could put a shine on any automobile, truck, motorcycle or 18-wheel tractor trailer to where you could see your mirror image on the paint job. Vic also loved listening and recording music from the 70’s and 80’s, as well as enjoying watching comic character movies as a pass time.

He leaves to cherish his memory his twins, Kendrick Smith and Kendra Smith, two sisters,  Robin “Muffin” Brown-Haywood, Tracy L. Brown-Campbell (David), and one step-sister, Johanna Payne (George), three grandchildren, two uncles, Vincent “Chitney” Jackson and Donald Brown (Sandy), three aunts, Vertalia Brown, Garnetta “Suggie” West (Mike) and JoyAnne May. Vic also leaves to cherish one great aunt, Elaine “Sister” Harvey-Greene, and one great uncle, Francis “Pump” Harvey, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Vic’s presence in this life will be truly missed.

The family will receive friends starting at 11am, Saturday, May 10, Storke Funeral Home, King George Chapel, 11089, James Madison Parkway, King George, VA 22485. A funeral service will begin at 12 noon, Saturday, May 10 with burial to follow at 1 pm, Saturday, May 10, Historyland Memorial Park, 11227, James Madison Parkway, King George, VA 22485.
