Bruce Dewayne Frady, 73, of King George, Virginia, peacefully passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025. Born in Cleveland, Tennessee on 1 June 1951, Bruce led a life marked by honor, dedication, and love.

A proud veteran, Bruce retired from the United States Army as a Chief Warrant Officer 4 after 30 years of distinguished service in Air Defense Artillery (ADA). His military career included combat duty in Desert Storm and the Gulf War. Among his many awards and commendations were the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star Medal, and The Order of Saint Barbara, reflecting his exceptional service and commitment to his country.

Outside of the military, Bruce was a man of many passions. He was an avid hunter, a world traveler, a keen poker player, and most of all, a devoted family man. He especially cherished his time spent at his second home in Florida, where he created lasting memories with loved ones.

Bruce is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Laura Frady; his son, Joshua Frady of Alexandria, Virginia; his stepson, Jonathan Hernandez of Atlanta, Georgia; his mother-in-law, Alicia Santiago of Youngtown, Arizona; his brother, Allen Frady of Cleveland, Tennessee; his sister, Melissa Frady of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Imogene Hood Frady, and his grandparents, Henry and Stella Mason Frady, and Charlie and Melissa Hood.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 17th, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the King George Chapel of Storke Funeral Home. A funeral service with full military honors will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery.

Bruce’s legacy of service, love, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
